Growing up in the Mennonite culture of Lancaster County, PA, Douglas Witmer’s deep connections to simplicity, peacemaking and humility began at an early age. Through his color-driven visual experiences, he has steadily pursued a personal inquiry into the materiality of seeing, perception, feeling and memory for over two decades.
